Tottenham v Manchester United Preview

Today there is yet another massive match in the Barclay's Premier League- Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United. I would have preferred to play Spurs a month or two back when they were having that horrible period but we are playing them today.

Spurs haven't had a match during midweek, United did play in the Champion's League but most of the first team regulars were not in the squad or on the bench so they should be pretty fit.

There are injury worries before the match- Ronaldo, Ferdinand, Berbatov and Carrick are doubts, Evra and Rooney are suspended.

Campbell who is on loan from Man United is not allowed to play against his parent club so Spurs will probably start with either Pavlyuchenko or Bent upfront.

Spurs are going to give a late fitness test to their captain Ledley King but I am expecting him to play a part in the match.

Squads:
Tottenham: Gomes, Cesar, Alnwick, Bale, Gunter, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Woodgate, King, Corluka, Zokora, Bentley, Huddlestone, Jenas, O'Hara, Bostock, Lennon, Jenas, Boateng, Bent, Pavlyuchenko, Modric.
Man United: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Rafael, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, O'Shea, Nani, Ronaldo, Anderson, Fletcher, Scholes, Carrick, Gibson, Possebon, Park, Giggs, Berbatov, Tevez, Welbeck, Manucho.

It will be a hard match but like I have said over the past few weeks, we really cannot afford to drop points especially since Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal should beat the teams they are playing today.
