Tottenham v Manchester United Review

Yesterday we had the late kick off again so we knew that both Arsenal and Liverpool dropped two points after drawing their matches, that made it a massive incentive to go and get the win but things didn't quite go to plan.

There were many injury doubts before the match and they were all able to start- Ronaldo, Carrick, Ferdinand and Berbatov. But we were still without Rooney and Evra who are both suspended.

Spurs did have a few great chances in the first half which brought out some fantastic saves by Edwin Van Der Sar. David Bentley who has already scored a cracking goal this season, he had a 25 yard volley saved. Aaron Lennon also had a good chance but he was denied.

We did score in the second half but it was ruled out after Ronaldo had handled it which I think was the right decision. Ferdinand and Park also came close to scoring but I can say that the Spurs goalie who has been awful this season did have a good match.

Gomes kept Tottenham in the match and he wonderfully saved Ryan Gigg's freekick which looked like it was just going to sneak in.

Poor old Berbatov was booed everytime he touched the ball so you knew when he was on the ball, it wasn't a surprise that he was booed because if I was a Tottenham fan I would probably have booed him aswell.

We had most of the possession but we just couldn't get that goal and that is the important thing. It was definetly two points dropped and I am disappointed but no offence to West Ham but I think Chelsea will get the win today.

Next up in the Premier League will be against Stoke on boxing day.
