All You Need To Know About Wilson Palacios



Man United have been linked with Wigan's Honduran midfielder Wilson Palacios this morning and are apparently in a battle with Tottenham to sign the player.

Here is all the information you need to know about Wilson Palacios:

Wilson Roberto Palacios Suazo was born on the 29th July 1984 in La Ceiba.

Palacios started off his career alongside his brothers (Edwin, Jerry, Johnny and Milton) at Club Deportivo Victoria, all five brothers were transferred to Olimpia.

August 2007 and there were reports that Palacios was missing but he was actually in London on trial with Arsenal.

24th August 2007 and Birmingham City announced that they were offering him a trial with a view to a six month loan deal off a recommendation from Arsene Wenger. A deal was agreed.

Birmingham did intent to make this loan deal permanent but the then Birmingham manager Alex McLeish had not seen enough of him to sign him permanently, this was because Palacios' brother had been kidnapped.

11th January 2008 and Wigan signed Palacios for an undisclosed fee and since then he has put on fantastic performances which has seen clubs such as Man United and Spurs interested in signing the player.

Palacios has represented his country over 50 times even though he is still 24 years of age.
