Derby County v Manchester United, FA Cup Preview

It was not that long ago that Derby County beat Manchester United 1-0 at Pride Park in the first leg of the semi-final match. Luckily for United there were two legs but if Man United loose tomorrow, there are no second chances.
I would expect Sir Alex to put out a slightly stronger line-up than he did in the Carling Cup first leg but whatever team is put out, I fully expect them to be strong enough to beat Derby or atleast get a draw out of the match- we don't want a draw though, that would mean more fixture congestion.

Wayne Rooney isn't going to play a part in the game, he won't be rushed back and the other players have done well without him anyway. Patrice Evra and Jonny Evan's are expected to both start or atleast be on the bench.

Ferdinand was unable to play in England's 2-0 loss against Spain on Wednesday due to an illness but he should have recovered in time for Sunday's game.

Derby will be without their defender Jay Mc Everley after having to serve a one match ban after picking up five yellow cards.

Derby midfielder Stephen Pearson is expected to be among the substitutes as he continues his return to fitness following a knee injury.

Sir Alex has said that he will not tolerate a Derby repeat (United lost 1-0 to Derby in the Carling Cup 1st leg), he has warned the players that he expects to see a significant improvement tomorrow.

Manchester United squad: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Neville, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, O'Shea, Ronaldo, Nani, Scholes, Fletcher, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Tosic, Berbatov, Tevez, Welbeck.

I am looking forward to the match tomorrow, I think it will be a great game in which United can hopefully knock some goals in, if not, I will settle for a 1-0 win.
