European Squad Announced

Today Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United have announced the 30 players who will be eligible to play for United in the Champion's League.

There are 25 main names also known as 'list A' and then an additional five players who were born on or after the 1st January 1987 on 'list B'.

Owen Hargreaves has been taken out of the squad on list A due to him recovering from injury for the rest of the season. Manucho has also been removed off list A, that is because he will be on loan at Hull until the rest of the season.

This left two names to be put onto list A, reserve team players Federico Macheda and Davide Petrucci have been name on list A. If you are wondering why United's new signing Zoran Tosic isn't on the list, that is because he played (and scored) for Partizan Belgrade in their third qualifying round defeat by Fenerbahce which makes him in eligible.
