During yesterdays game between Manchester United and Newcaslte United, there was an incident between Taylor and Ronaldo. Taylor appeared to hit Ronaldo on the side of the face and Ronaldo went flying off the pitch in agony.

Reports are saying that there was a brawl between Ronaldo and Taylor in the tunnel during half time. Ronaldo apparently said to Taylor: “Your style of football is s**t" with Taylor's reply being: “Well you are ugly!”.

Taylor was lucky to be on the pitch but what I didn't understand is that Ronaldo was hit on the side of the head/neck but when he was rolling around on the floor, he was holding his face.
There is no doubting that Taylor hit him but was Ronaldo making the most of it?

In the end it didn't really matter because it was Taylor who made the mistake which lead to Berbatov's winning goal.

UPDATE- There have been miscellaneous reports today, it looks like this is what happened- Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney were involved in a furious half-time tunnel bust-up with Newcastle defender Steven Taylor during Manchester United's 2-1 win at St James' Park. One United player said Taylor was a "useless defender", to which he replied "at least I am not ugly".
