Arrigo Sacchi believes that Inter Milan only have two choices against Manchester United on Wednesday. The first leg (in which Manchester United should have won comfortably) finished 0-0. The second leg is to be played on Wednesday, either Man United or Inter Milan will be knocked out of the Champion's League and their dreams will be shattered.
“I think Inter can make it, however, they will have to choose between two options,” former Milan tactician Arrigo Sacchi told Rete 4 programme ‘Controcampo’.
“They could hand the initiative to their rivals for 90 minutes and suffer at the back, relying on the miracles of their goalkeeper Julio Cesar and just hoping to quickly hit on the counter.
“But their second option is to play on a par with Manchester United, bossing the midfield area and hitting back at [Sir Alex] Ferguson’s team. Of course, I’d prefer the second one…”
