Manchester United vs Inter Milan, Second Leg Preview

Tonight will see the second round of the clash of the titans- Manchester United vs Inter Milan. The first leg finished 0-0 which could prove to be a dangerous scoreline because away goals can count.

Manchester United should really have won the first leg by a few goals, that would really have taken the pressure off but we were unable to score. Inter Milan can't be as poor as they were in the first game so it will be a lot harder and alot more nervous.
The only way the game can go to extra time and penalties is if the game finished 0-0, I don't think that will happen and I would prefer it not to happen. We are playing Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday which is the early kick off.

Inter Milan are expected to sit back and play for penalties but United are used to having to break down defences and grab a goal which is what we might have to do tonight.

Last Saturday, Rio Ferdinand limped out of the match against Fulham with an ankle injury but the good news is that he did train yesterday, alongside John O'Shea who also picked up an injury against Fulham. Both players are expected to start tonight.

United are still without Wes Brown (metatarsal), Rafael da Silva (ankle) and Gary Neville (illness) but Inter have some defensive problems of their own.
Inter are without defenders Christian Chivu (groin), Marco Materazzi (thigh), Nicolas Burdisso (knee) and they may still be without Walter Samuel’s (calf).

Man United Squad: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Eckersley, Fabio, Ronaldo, Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs, Scholes, Park, Berbatov, Rooney, Tevez, Welbeck.

Inter Milan Squad: Toldo, Cesar, Orlandoni, Cordoba, Maxwell, Rivas, Maicon, Samuel, Santon, Zanetti, Stankovic, Figo, Muntari, Jimenez, Vieira, Cambiasso, Bolzoni, Mancini, Ibrahimovic, Cruz, Balotelli, Adriano.

It will be a tough game, I will probably be biting my nails during it but I think we could sneak a 1-0 win just like we did last season against Barcelona.
