Mourinho Eyes Man United Job?

Reports coming out of Italy suggest that Jose Mourinho could soon be sacked as Inter Milan boss and reports in the English press are saying that Mourinho is refusing to rule himself out of the Manchester United job (when it is available).

Fergie has come out and said that he doesn't plan in retiring because he is too scared. In my opinion, Sir Alex Ferguson is the only manager in the whole world who will not be sacked by the club, United will need a new manager when Fergie wants to retire.

The News of the World quotes Mourinho as saying:
"I have big jobs left in me that is for sure — but I can’t commit to which ones.
"If you want me to rule out ever being Manchester United manager I can’t. Special clubs need special managers so in theory it could work, but nobody knows what the future is in football.
"The England national team wanted me as coach and that is the biggest job in England, so I am sure when Sir Alex retires they will look at the best managers in the world and I certainly fall into that category.
"How much time I can’t say, Sir Alex doesn’t look like he is ready to stop. But when you are managing a winning team you don’t want to stop — and if you have health then there is no reason to."

There is no doubting that Mourinho is a great manager but I'm not sure if his style of football suits United. Man United always attack teams, Mourinho's teams are more defensive and will sit back on a 1-0 lead.

There is a massive match between Man United and Inter Milan on Wednesday, so this is probably just Mourinho reigniting some mind games.

Personally, I can't see past Sir Alex Ferguson right now.
