Reports in the English press today are saying that AC Milan and Real Madrid want United defender Jonny Evans. Now, I can tell you now that, that isn't going to happen. Fergie has lined up Evans as Ferdinand's successor so he isn't going anywhere.

Evans has been fantastic for United. United have had many defensive injuries so far this season (the latest being Ferdinand who is doubtful for Wednesday's match against Inter Milan), whenever Evans has come into the squad, he hasn't just coped, he has showed that he is a class defender.

I can't see United selling Real Madrid any of their players in the near future after what happened during the summer with Cristiano Ronaldo. It's not going to happen.

I hope that United win against Inter Milan in the Champion's League (obviously!) but I also hope that Real Madrid knock Liverpool out and that we are drawn against them and show them exactly who the better team is.
