The FA have confirmed today that United defender Nemanja Vidic will miss two Premier League matches after he was shown a straight red card on Saturday against Liverpool.
Vidic is banned for the first match because of the red card on Saturday after he pulled down Steven Gerrard which denied Gerrard a goal scoring opportunity.
The second game ban is because it is the second red card that Vidic has received this season in a domestic fixture.
This means that United will be without Vidic for the away match to Fulham and the home match against Aston Villa.
Hopefully Jonny Evans has recovered fully from his ankle injury, he is a class replacement for Vidic so I have no worries there. Vidic deserved the red card so as far as I know, Man United won't be appealing the decision.
