United Wage Bill Soars

Manchester United's wage bill has soared to £121 million which is a massive £29 million than the year before. It is thought that the rise is because of Cristiano Ronaldo's and Wayne Rooney's improved contracts, and it could rise even more what with the talk of an even bigger contract for Ronaldo.

United aren't the biggest spenders in the Premier League wage wise, Chelsea are still top, they pay their players a total of £148 million a year.

Manchester United are in massive debt which is thought to be over £700 million. Manchester United did make a profit but the parent companies didn't- Red Football Ltd recorded a loss of £21.4 million, and Red Football Joint Ventures Ltd a loss of £44.8 million.
