Terrible news has come out of Nigeria. Earlier in the day there were rumours about a Man United fan killing Barcelona fans, the police have now confirmed it.

Police spokeswoman Rita Inoma-Abbey said the driver (who is a Manchester United supporter) was in custody after making a U-turn and driving into a group celebrating Barcelona fans after the 2-0 win over United last night.

The spokeswoman said more than ten people were injured in the town of Ogbo, Nigeria.

We were all gutted that Manchester United lost last night, there is no reason at all to go and do that. That is horrible and just plain nasty.

My thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims.
