Manchester United defender Danny Simpson has returned to Old Trafford after a loan spell with Blackburn Rovers.
Simpson has been at Rovers on a season long loan but he has returned early after failing to make an impact.
"Danny wanted to go back and train with them as his first-team appearances here have been limited," Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. "We allowed him to do that after he played for the reserves in midweek."
Danny Simpson is going to have a hard time breaking into the Man United first team squad aswell. During his season long loan at Rovers, he only made 12 appearances most of which were when former Blackburn boss Paul Ince was incharge.
