United Star Out Of Champion's League Final

Football - Everton v Manchester United FA Cup Semi Final

Manchester United goalie Ben Foster has had to have surgery to repair a ruptured ligament in his right thumb. Foster will now be out for at least nine weeks before he can return.

“It is big blow for Ben as not only will he miss the Champions League final but also England’s summer internationals," Sir Alex told ManUtd.com

"Ben has tried to continue the season with this injury but it got so critical that an operation was the only way forward. It is disappointing for him but the important thing was to get this operation done.”

Foster has had a few injuries whilst playing for United and this will be a massive blow for him. I am sure that if he was fit, he would have been on the bench.
