Last Chance To Sign Tevez

Premier League: Manchester United Champions 2009

It is being reported that Manchester United will attempt to agree a deal to sign Carlos Tevez at a meeting which has been scheduled with his advisers later this week. It is now thought that Manchester United are now willing to pay the £25.5 million price which was agreed two years ago, but is it too late?

Manchester City and Liverpool are willing to pay the asking price for Carlos Tevez and now it seems that Man United are aswell. We could have done this months ago but I think that it has been left too late now.

Kia Joorabchian owns the rights to Tevez and he has said that he won't start any negotiations until 10th June, Tevez and Joorabchian want to wait until after the International matches.

The other problem is that Tevez (and the Man United fans) believe that he hasn't played enough matches at United and he wants to play more football. He will be guaranteed that at City and probably at Liverpool. I don't think Man United could guarantee him that.

If you think he'll get more starts and playing time at Liverpool, you're fucking mad. Rafa and his crazy rotation policies? I've seen more players shake their heads at his subs.

Hi Anonymous, thanks for your comment. I did say that he 'probably' would get more appearances with Liverpool than Man United.
Over the last few months Rafa didn't rotate as much. Don't get me wrong, I would love Tevez to stay but I don't think he will.

Look at the players that we can start upfront and look at the players that Liverpool have upfront. He would get more minutes on the pitch somewhere else. For some reason Fergie seems to prefer Berbatov and I don't think that will change.
