Man United To Bid €60 Million For Player

Sergio AGUERO
Manchester United are set to hijack Chelsea's bid for Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero. Atletico have said that they will not be accepting any bids for Aguero, that means that any club who want to buy him will have to pay the price of his buyout clause.

Man United have been linked with many young, upcoming stars but Aguero is seen as the perfect replacement to Carlos Tevez or even Cristiano Ronaldo.
Marca (who are reporting this story) claim that the deal will be a lot easier because IMG (who are Aguero's representatives) have offered to work as Spanish-based scouts for Man United and Sir Alex Ferguson.

Atletico club president Enrique Cerezo has talked about the situation and he said:
"We do not want to sell and we are calm about everything.
"We have a good team at present and we are going to strengthen it every which way we can. We are absolutely calm. We are not afraid of anything or anybody. [The players] have contracts which we have respected and we expect to be shown the same respect."

"Anyone who wants our players knows what to do, provided the player wants to leave," Cerezo explained. "And if they choose to go and a club wants to sign them, then there is nothing I can do about it."
