FC Seoul 2-3 Manchester United, Match Review

Yesterday Man United took on FC Seoul in Man United's hardest and most challenging pre-season match too far. Man United had to come from behind, not once but twice to win 3-2.

The South Korean team went ahead in the 23rd minute. Kim Seung-Yong's crossed the ball in and Dejan Damjanovic went straight past two defenders and put the ball straight past Tomasz Kuszczak, who couldn't have done anything.

FC Seoul were only ahead for eight minutes, John O'Shea crossed the ball in for Wayne Rooney who powerfully headed the ball straight past their keeper Kim Ho-Jun.

It looked like the teams were going to go into the break at half time drawing but Seoul had different ideas. Two minutes into first half stoppage time Damjanovic got his second of the game and for the second time in the game, Seoul were ahead. Lee Seung-Yeoul put Damjanovic through on goal and he calmly put it past Kuszczak.

Man United came out in the second half looking to pull themselves level and we didn't have to wait long. 57 minutes in, Wayne Rooney's long ball from United's half put Federico Macheda through on goal. Kiko put the ball past the on rushing Kim and into the back of the net.

Eight minutes later, substitute Dimitar Berbatov scored Man United's winner. Darren Gibson crossed the ball in from the right and Berbatov was there to score.

73 minutes in and the moment that the South Koreans had been waiting for finally came. Park was on the pitch playing for Manchester United.

The most impressive thing for me was the crowd, they were amazing, especially when Ji-Sung Park came off the bench. Everytime he went near the ball there was a loud cheer from the crowd.

The Koreans gave United a run for their money and it definitely was a more challenging match.
