A price tag of £70-80 million has put Man United and Real Madrid off Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery but it looks like the player could go for £35 million.
The Sun claim that Man United will wait two weeks before making a bid for the Bayern Munich player. The winger is due a loyalty bonus on the 14th August, after which he is expected to request a transfer.
It is thought that Ribery won't be off to Real Madrid because they have infuriated Bayern with their arrogance. It is also believed that Ribery wants to quit Germany and he is interested in a move to Old Trafford.
The Sun believe that Bayern Munich are willing to negotiate with Manchester United and they are willing to drop the price to £50 million.
Would Man United really spend £50 million on Franck Ribery? I don't think so, £35 million is more realistic.
