Man United defender Rio Ferdinand believes that the next season will be successful for Man United, even after the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.
Much has been made that Man United haven't really spent the £80 million which Man United received for Ronaldo but we have brought in Michael Owen, Antonio Valencia and Gabriel Obertan.
"Asia was a long tour for us and I think physically we're tired after that," Ferdinand told Sky Sports News.
"We're on the right road. Obviously we lost two very big players in Cristiano and Carlos but Manchester United moves on and hopefully we'll continue to be successful."
"He [Owen] scored a lot of goals on the tour and he's fitting in very well. Antonio Valencia has done very well as well."
Owen has done a lot better than I expected and Valencia scored on his debut the other day but I do think that Man United will get atleast one more player in before the transfer window closes.
