There were many reports yesterday saying that Man United midfielder Anderson had a major bust-up with Sir Alex Ferguson. Apparently that resulted in Anderson saying that he wanted to quit and Fergie granting his wish.
Most Man United fans didn’t believe this (me included), there was no source, no quotes and it sounded like a load of rubbish.
Today, Anderson has denied that he wants to leave Man United but he did say that he is frustrated at the lack of first team action.
Anderson told the Daily Mail:
That is a bit of good news, it seems like recently Man United have only been getting bad press, for example- Cristiano Ronaldo leaving, Carlos Tevez leaving."I believed that I would play in the Community Shield but that is forgotten now."I thought that, without Cristiano Ronaldo around, I could to play more and that has been my challenge from pre-season onwards."But the coach decides the teams and to discuss this with him is foolish because he is the chief. I do not want to leave United. No."Sir Alex Ferguson has demanded a bigger effort from me and I accept that. Because to get into this United team is very complicated and difficult for any player."
