Man United defender Nemanja Vidic has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford. A few months ago there were reports that his wife wasn’t happy in Manchester. More recently Vidic’ agent was quoted as saying that Vidic wanted to leave United but it looks like he wants to stay.
Vidic’ contract with Man United runs out in 2012 and there are also suggestions today that Man United are ready to offer the Serbian an extension to that contract.
Vidic has been a major part of Man United’s successful defence over the past few seasons and I think that all Man United fans would love to see him sign a new contract.

So that should put all of our minds to rest. He is what you would call a top class professional footballer- more footballers should be like him.
