Man United Under 18's Beat Spurs

Early yesterday morning, Man United’s academy players took on Tottenham's academy. The starting XI was- Conor Devlin, Reece Brown, Ezekiel Fryers, Sean McGinty, Scott Wootton, Etzaz Hussain, Nicholas Ajose, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Joshua King, John Cofie and Robert Brady.


With only 11 minutes on the clock, Man United were 2-0 up after goals from Cofie in the second minute and Brady in the 11th minute.


About half way through the first half, Tunnicliffe nearly made it 3-0 when Ajose crossed the ball in, Tunnicliffe headed it inches wide of the post.


Minutes later and Man United are 3-0 up, King runs onto Cofie’s flick and he goes round the goalie and puts the ball into the back of the net.


Straight after that goal, Spurs nearly pull one back, Harry Kane strike hits the bar with United goalkeeper Devlin beaten.


Early on in the second half, Spurs pulled a goal back. Kudus Oyenuga when he followed up Dean Parrett's shot at goal.


The match finished 3-1 and the Man United academy have another win.
