FIFA have approved Paul Pogba’s move to Man United after a judge ruled that United didn’t get the player to break his contract with Le Havre. Pogba is now able to join Man United. United have said that Pogba will immediately be registered with the United.
Le Havre claimed that Man United offered the players parents a house and money if the played moved to United. The judge said that this can’t have been true because the Pogba didn’t have a contract with Le Havre.
This story came just days after Chelsea were banned from signing any players in the next two transfer windows. Chelsea were found guilty of getting Gael Kakuta to break a contract with his club Lens.
A statement released by the United yesterday said: "Manchester United is pleased to confirm that the Football Association has been authorised by Fifa to register Paul Pogba as a Manchester United player with immediate effect."
Earlier on in the week it was also announced that United will not be in any trouble over signing defender Michele Fornasier from Fiorentina. It was thought that Fiorentina were going to report United to FIFA but obviously there isn’t a case to answer there either.
