Man United striker Wayne Rooney has said that United are now ready to go on a long run of winning games. After a 1-0 loss against Chelsea two-weeks ago, United are now five points behind Chelsea.
United can’t afford to drop anymore points, so we must carry on winning to challenge Chelsea.
Rooney told The Mirror:
“We know we need to get more consistency in our results and I'm sure we can do that."
“We're known for going on good runs at this time of year and in the second half of the season, so we need to start doing that now.”
“We never give in, we always keep going to the end, and the other teams around us are definitely aware of that.”
