Tevez Pays £2000 For 20FT Poster

Man City striker Carlos Tevez has bought a massive version of the famous Manchester poster. Tevez has paid £2000 the ‘Welcome to Manchester’ poster which caused an uproar.

Tevez left Man United during the summer following a two-year loan, he then decided to turn down an offer from Old Trafford and join their City rivals Manchester City.

Tevez left Old Trafford as an adored hero but is now a hated villain after saying some pretty nasty and petty stuff about manager Sir Alex Ferguson. He was never going to be liked after joining City but that poster and his comments haven’t helped at all.

Earlier on in the year Sir Alex spoke about the poster and he said:
"The only thing that upset us was that they come out with that stupid poster. I thought that was arrogance, they should do without that."

"They didn't need to do that, that was naughty, and showed a cockiness that wasn't required at the time because they hadn't done anything, the season hadn't even started."

Tevez will now have a 20ft digital print of the poster, which will be displayed in his games room. He may also order a second print to be sent to his home in Buenos Aires.
