Gary Neville Set To Retire

Football - Manchester United v Chelsea Barclays Premier League
Man United captain Gary Neville has played for Man United for 18-years, making 583 appearances. British tabloid The Sun believe that Neville will retire at the end of this season.

Over recent seasons Neville has been suffering from many injures. That left other players to come in and they have done well in the right-back position. Neville’s contract runs out this June, he hasn’t been offered a new contract and it looks unlikely that he will be offered one.

Neville has had a fantastic career at Old Trafford, rival fans hate him but he has been a big part of United’s success. It will be a shame to see him hang up his boots but all players have to do it at some point.
