Man United After The Incredible Hulk?

Football - FC Porto v Manchester United UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Second Leg
Reports today in the News Of The World are suggesting that Man United are set to bid £20 million for the Porto striker. The newspaper believes that Man United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is a big admirer of the Brazilian.

Hulk still has four years left on his contract at Porto but it is believed that he has a clause in his contract that says he he cannot be released for less than 100m euros. ‘Sources’ at the Porto believe that he could leave for £20 million, at the end of this season.

"The big clubs in England have been in contact,” the player's agent Teodoro Fonseca said.
"They have asked for details about his contract situation but any decision about his future rests mainly with the directors of Porto.
"I am calm about the situation and so is the player because he has an excellent future. I think we could be discussing a move in April or May."

It is also thought that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is also a fan of the 23-year-old. Hulk’s reputation in Europe is growing, Man United are keeping a close eye on him but if we do make a move, I don’t think it will be this January. Possibly in the summer.

"Hulk would be a good investment for United," said a Porto ‘source’.
"He has the quality to be a superstar in England and his club will have no choice but to take a big offer for him very seriously."

  1. ajwad says:

yes bid for Hulk and Villa also...
    Daniel Alves too...

  2. It would be great to see all three of those players at the club but I don't think that it will happen. Mainly because of the money.
