Tomorrow lunch time Leeds travel to Man United for the first time since February 2004, when both teams played a 1-1 draw. Since 2004 it has been downhill for Leeds but supporters of both teams are looking forward to the clash.
Man United welcome back Paul Scholes and Gary Neville who both return from injuries. Nemanja Vidic and Wes Brown are expected to start, other than that, I don’t have a clue who will be in the starting line-up.
United are without Edwin Van Der Sar who is on compassionate leave after his wife fell ill. We are also without John O’Shea, Rio Ferdinand, Owen Hargreaves and Luis Nani. It has come too soon for Mame Biram Diouf, who has recently been granted a work permit and it may also be too soon for Jonny Evans.
Leeds don’t have cup-tied Max Gradel and suspended Leigh Bromby. Ben Parker is a long term absentee and defender Rui Marques is out in Angola for the African Cup Of Nations. Other than that, they have a full squad.
There may be two divisions between both teams but it will be a difficult game. There is a fierce rivalry between Man United and Leeds, it will be a passionate and fiery game. I believe that United will have too much quality but it will be a great one to watch.
Predicted line-up: Ben Foster, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Wes Brown, Fabio da Silva, Gabriel Obertan, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick, Ji-Sung Park, Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.
Predicted scoreline- Man United 3-1 Leeds
