Man United vs Burnley Preview

This afternoon Man United will try and win their first game of 2010. After a disappointing draw with Birmingham last weekend, United will be looking to step up their performance and actually win a game.

Ahead of tomorrows game all the talk has been surrounding the clubs debt and owners. The squad and staff have been out in Doha to soak up some sunshine and do a little bit of training.

Burnley have also had themselves a busy week, they lost a manager in Owen Coyle and they have appointed Brian Law as their new manager.

Edwin Van Der Sar may return in goal after recovering from an injury and returning to England after his wife fell ill. Van Der Sar hasn’t played for Man United since mid November.

Man United are without Darren Fletcher who is suspended after receiving a red card against Birmingham. United are also with Rio Ferdinand, John O’Shea and Owen Hargreaves.

Luis Nani, Federico Macheda, Ben Foster, Nemanja Vidic, and Van Der Sar are all doubts.

Burnley have Carlisle doubtful. The side are definitely without Andre Bikey who is at the African Cup of Nations. Chris McCann, Martin Paterson, Steven Caldwell and Jay Rodriguez are all out injured.

Predicted Man United starting XI- Van Der Sar, Gary Neville, Wes Brown, Jonny Evans, Patrice Evra, Antonio Valencia, Michael Carrick, Anderson, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen.

Predicted scoreline- Man United 3-1 Burnley
