Evra's Future To Be Decided In The Summer

Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has been linked with a move away from United to Spanish side Real Madrid. Evra's agent Federico Pastorelo has said that Frenchman is staying at United for now, and will make a decision on his future in the summer.

Pastorelo told Sport.co.uk: "No, there is nothing really to report on Patrice (Evra)."

"There has been interest, and I have read about Real Madrid but really the only official interest was from Inter Milan last summer. We had a long chat with Sir Alex Ferguson and it was decided he would stay in Manchester."

"His contract runs out in the summer of 2012 and there he is concentrating and focused on this season. We will sit down in the summer with Manchester United and decide whether he will extend his contract or move on. But for the moment there is nothing special to say on the situation."

Evra joined Manchester United in January 2006 from AS Monaco for a fee believed to be in the region of £5.5 million. To date, Evra has made 222 appearances for United and has scored three goals for the club.
