Last night Manchester United made it through to the next round of the Champion's League by beating Lyon 1-0 at Old Trafford with a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo, yet again.
United dominated the match but failed to score a second goal which made it a bit of a nervous finish but we made it through.
Arsenal (knocked out AC Milan, the holders), Barcelona (knocked out Celtic) and Fenerbahce (knocked out Sevilla) also made it through last night, so with three more matches tonight and one next week, who would we prefer in the next round.
The teams that are through and could go through:
- Manchester United
- Arsenal
- Barcelona
- Fenerbahce
- Chelsea/Olympiacos
- Porto/Schalke
- Real Madrid/Roma
- Liverpool/Inter Milan
I would like us to stay away from an english club. Chelsea and Liverpool look like their both going through, but you never no. Out of all of the clubs i would prefer us to be drawn with either Fenerbahce or the winners out of the Porto/Schalke match.
All matches in the next round will be difficult matches and we will need to perform better and really finish teams off.
