Scolari making enemy out of Sir Alex

It is starting to look like Scolari (the new Chelsea manager) has had a big part of Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to leave Manchester United.

Before Ronaldo went off to Euro 2008 he had said many times that he is happy in Manchester and he did say after the Champion's League final that he will stay.

Now he has said that he knew what he wanted to do before the Champion's League final, which makes you think that he wants to stay at United, but then, he said that he wants to follow his dream and he doesn't mind upsetting Sir Alex and the fans so then it looks like he wants to join Real Madrid.

So, the way I see it is that he wants to stay at United before he goes to Euro 2008 and after Euro 2008 he wants to leave, so what has happened between that?

I can tell you exactle what happened between then and that is Phil Scolari who was the Portugal manager during Euro 2008 has become the Chelsea manager, who only happen to be United's main rivals for the Premier League title.

Today Scolari has opened his mouth and said that Manchester United cannot hurt Cristiano Ronaldo.

"It is his [Ronaldo's] dream to play for Real Madrid,"

"And I am sure Cristiano will fulfil his dream whatever the difficulties."
"I know Cristiano well and I know the type of person he is so I have no doubts about how he will handle himself in the next few weeks,"
"People must understand that Cristiano becomes stronger with all the difficulties and the stories about him. I have never known anyone so mentally strong.
"What happened to him at the World Cup in 2006 in the quarter-final against England would have crushed many other players, but not Cristiano. And what has been happening around him here with the uncertainty about his future has not affected him.
"I know that because I have been with him. He is so strong mentally and he is in control of his own destiny - and because of that Manchester United can do nothing to hurt him."
