Breaking News: Mikael Silvestre has left Manchester United and he has signed with Arsenal.
So in other words, totally ignore my earlier post.

Silvestre has complested a transfer to Arsenal for an undisclosed fee, Silvestre had made 361 appearances for United and scored 10 goals.
Sir Alex Ferguson told ManUtd.com: “Mikael was a great servant and a wonderful professional. We wish him all the best at his new club and thank him for his service.”
Mikael has penned a two-year deal and will wear the number 18 shirt for the Gunners.

I assume he was past his best, as I assume Man Utd would not sell him to another of the "big four" if he wasn't?????
I think he was definelty past his best but I am still surprised that he went to the Gunners but good luck to him and hopefully we can put some of the money towards buying a striker
