Liverpool v Manchester United Match Preview

Today is a massive day for both Manchester United and Liverpool, this match is probably the biggest of the season, it kicks off at 12:45 and here is the match preview.

If Liverpool win today then they will go upto the top of the Premier League table for atleast a few hours, but they will have played a game more than Manchester United who missed the last Premier League games due to having to play the UEFA Super Cup.



Players Returning From Injury
The first news is that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and striker Fernando Torres have been passed fit for the match, they havent played for a few weeks so I am not sure how fit they will be.
Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to give Dimitar Berbatov his debut for Manchester United upfront with Wayne Rooney.
Owen Hargreaves and Michael Carrick are back, Giggs could be fit and Nani is back after suspension.
Cristiano Ronaldo is fit but he won't be playing a part of the match but he could feature in wednesdays match against Villareal in the Champion's League.

I am predicting a very tight game but I think that United can sneak a win which will give us a massive boost for the Champions League match on wednesday.
