Manchester United v Villarreal Match Preview

Tonight is the next part of Manchester United's big week when we take on Spanish club Villarreal. Manchester United lost against Liverpool on saturday, there is Villarreal tonight and then a massive match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on sunday but today we are concentrating on the start of retaining the Champion's League.

The best news about this so far has to be the return of our star winger, I don't need to tell you his name, but I will, ofcourse it is Cristiano Ronaldo, but he is likely to start on the bench.
The bad news is that Michael Carrick will be out for around 4-6 weeks with a broken foot and new signing Dimitar Berbatov is a major doubt with a knee injury.
Paul Scholes is suspended for this match after the stupid red card for a handball against Zenit St Petersburg in the UEFA Super Cup.
Manucho is ready to play for Manchester United after recovering from an achilles injury, I watched him play in the African Cup of Nations and he looked like a fantastic young player.

Manchester United Squad: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Foster, Brown, Neville, R Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, O'Shea, Evra, F Da Silva, Ronaldo, Nani, Hargreaves, Anderson, Possebon, Fletcher, Park, Giggs, Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov, Manucho, Welbeck.

Villarreal are without Nihat Kahveci and former United striker Giuseppe Rossi, who both have thigh problems.
United may have lost on the weekend but Villarreal had an important 1-0 victory at home to Deportivo La Coruña.
United should be aware of Santi Cazorla who looks like he can become a massive star, I have watched him whilst playing for Spain and he does look like a great player.

Villarreal Squad: Diego López, Viera, Gonzalo Rodríguez, Edmilson, Capdevila, Cygan, Ángel, S. Cazorla, Franco, Ibagaza, Pirès, Llorente, Cani, Javi Venta, Marcos Senna, Eguren, Fuentes, Bruno, Fernández.

Overall I think it will be a tough match for Manchester United but I think we will keep our long winning run in the Champion's League with a 1 or 2 nil win over Villarreal.
