This weekend West Ham had to cover up their sponsors logo because the company went bust, could Manchester United be the next team to have to do this?

Manchester United's sponsors AIG according to the Sunday Times could be the next football sponsor to be broke:

“AIG shares have slumped as the cost of insuring its debt has risen and concerns have grown that the company may be the next big American financial firm to run short of cash,”

Manchester United won't have any problems finding a sponsor if they do go bust but what I won't be happy about is spending another 50 pounds for a new shirt but with a different sponsor. It is a lot of money and it won't just be for the home kit but it will be for an away kit so that is around 100 pounds on two new shirts.

Hopefully AIG wont go bust
