Reports in the Daily Mail are suggesting that we will be lining up a bid for Tottenham defender Gareth Bale.

Its not the first time Manchester United have been linked with Bale, we were first linked with him when he was at Southampton but he decided to go to Spurs.

Gareth Bale can be fantastic in dead ball situations but we do have a load of players who can hit a ball in dead ball situations e.g Ronaldo, Hargreaves and Giggs.

There is no doubting that Bale is a good player but I don't think Spurs will let him go especially after the Berbatov saga during the summer.
