Man United Top Of The Table

I would like to start off by apologising for the lateness of this post, I have had a bit of a family crisis today but that is all sorted now.
What a day it was in the Premier League yesterday, Chelsea were 1-0 down to Stoke at Stamford Bridge in the 88th minute but ended up winning the match 2-1. United were looking like they were going to get a 0-0 draw away at Bolton but a Dimitar goal in the 90th minute gave us a 1-0 win.

We kept a clean sheet which means that we have got up to the record of 10 consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League, this is a record which Chelsea did a couple of years back but if we win in a few weeks time (we have Spurs in the FA Cup next weekend) and keep a clean sheet then we will set a record of 11.

Tevez and Evans were both fit for this match, it was probably better that Evans was passed fit because if he wasn't Chester (19)would have had to make his first team debut.

After a great performance against Chelsea last Sunday and a not so bad one but not fantastic one against Wigan midweek, I didn't really know which Manchester United to expect.

We weren't great, we missed Rooney and Evra but the most important thing is that we got the win and the three points that we needed to take us to the top of the Premier League table for the first time this season.

Ronaldo was denied a few times from freekicks but the goalie managed to get down and push the ball round the post for a corner.

Berbatov didn't do much, the only thing I can remember him do is scoring and that is one of the most important parts.

Overall I think we could have done better, I would liked to have seen a few more clear cut chances but we got the win, we are at the top of the Premier League (Liverpool play Everton tomorrow) and that is the most important thing.

Next up, we have to overturn a 1-0 loss and beat Derby at Old Trafford in the second leg of the Carling Cup semi-final.
