£45 millon Striker To Man United?

David Villa

It is thought that Sir Alex Ferguson has £100 million to spend in the transfer market, that means we will be linked with loads of players, the latest being Valencia's David Villa.

Fergie is ready to put in a £45 million for Villa, that would smash the British transfer record which is currently held by Manchester City who bought Robinho for £32.5 million.

Over recent weeks, Real Madrid have been the favourites to sign the player but over recent days Manchester United and Barcelona have also been in the running.

But reports over the weekend have said that Valencia has cut all ties with Real Madrid and that Villa won't be going there.

Could Villa really be on his way to Old Trafford? I think there is more of a chance of him going to Barcelona than Man United but you never know in football. Valencia need the money and if United can out bid Barcelona then he could be on his way to Old Trafford.

  1. Id rather have Torres, Eto'o or Benzema than Villa. That said he would still be a quality signing.

Hi Manchester United Tickets, thanks for your comment.
I don't think Torres will join United and I don't think Eto'o will so that leaves Benzema and he could possibly join us.
