After Portugal's 2-1 win over Albania on Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo has been complaining of a groin injury. This has led to speculation that Ronaldo may need a hernia operation.

Ronaldo has pulled out of Portugal's friendly match against Estonia tomorrow and he will have tests in Lisbon to see if he will need an operation or not.

If Ronaldo does go under the knife it he may not be fit to play in Manchester United's pre-season Asia tour.
Last season Ronaldo went under the knife for a foot injury and it took him ages to get back to his best.

If Ronaldo does need an operation, the sooner he has it, the better.
