Man United have again been linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar after the losses of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez. Huntelaar has been linked with a move away from Madrid ever since he was omitted from their Champions League squad in favour of Lassana Diarra.

Since joining Real Madrid in January 2009, Huntelaar went on to make 20 appearances, scoring eight goals. Real have bought Ronaldo and Kaka this summer so a move away wouldn't be a surprise.

Huntelaar's career stats are a total of 265 appearances, he has scored 179 goals, that is a ratio of 0.68 goals a game. The stats are good, he is a good player and I wouldn't be disappointed if Man United did sign him. Over the past few days this is probably one of the more realistic signings.
