Malaysia 0-2 Manchester United, Pre-Season Match Review

Yesterday Man United took on a Malaysia XI for the second time in a matter of days and we got our second win. Federico Macheda and Michael Owen were both on target to help Man United to another win.

Man United got off to a great start when Fabio da Silva cut inside and put the ball into the penalty area, the ball went to Darren Fletcher who set up Federico Macheda for his first goal of the season. United took an early 11th minute lead.

Two minutes later, Man United had their second goal and Owen had his second goal in two matches. Zoran Tosic had loads of space down Man United's left, he got the ball into the box and Owen was there to put it into the back of the net.

There was only ever going to be one team who scored, Dimitar Berbatov came on and his shots or headers were straight at the goalie. Minutes after Wayne Rooney came on he had a fantastic chance to score the third goal but his shot screwed wide.

Anderson also came on and he had a great chance to score his first ever Manchester United goal but the shot was wide and he is still waiting.

Tosic was very impressive throughout the match and he looks like he definitely could become a Man United regular and favourite.
