Four Times For Man United?

Premier League: Manchester United Champions 2009

Former Man United player Micky Thomas believes that Man United can win four Premier League titles in a row. Thomas played for Manchester United from 1978 to 1981. He made 90 appearances and he scored 11 goals.

Thomas has said that Man United will impress without Cristiano Ronaldo and next May they will pick up the Premier League title for a record breaking fourth time in a row.

Many pundits, rival fans and the press believe that after the loss of Ronaldo, Man United won’t be the same and Chelsea will win the title. Others think that Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal will win the title but most think Chelsea will win it.

Here is what Thomas said live on Sky Sports News yesterday:

"I just think they're good enough"
"They've got the experience of the last three years [of being] consistent.

"Of course losing [Carlos] Tevez and [Cristiano] Ronaldo, it's going to be a bit more difficult, but they still have all the right ingredients.

"The manager at the helm has done it and seen it all before, and I think he puts all the confidence over to the players. One or two players are getting on in years – [Ryan] Giggs and [Paul] Scholes - but they've still got a lot to offer this football club.

"So if you look at the squad it's still healthy. It's still the same back-four, and that's where the solid foundation is built for success."
