Before the senior Man United players beat Stoke 2-0 yesterday, Man United’s Under-18’s were in action against Blackburn’s Under-18’s.

The game finished 0-0 after 90 minutes but it was Man United’s John Cofie who was closest to scoring. 23 minutes in the young striker hit the post.

There weren’t too many shots going at the Man United goal but Rovers did have one or two goal scoring chances. The first of which came in the 63rd minute when United’s goalie Sam Johnstone had to save a low, powerful shot.

Man United tried their best to get a winner but they left Brockhall Village with a point. Not a bad result but overall, I think we did deserve three points.
