Premier League Preview; Tottenham vs Man United

Tottenham are going into tomorrows match against Man United at White Hart Lane in top form. Man United on the other hand did win against Arsenal but we really haven’t been convincing at all.

Spurs do have some good injury news. Goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes and midfielder Jermaine Jenas have both returned to the squad after injury. Sebastien Bassong is also fit after picking up a slight injury whilst playing for his country Cameroon.

Football - Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur Barclays Premier LeagueThe only bad news for Spurs is that Ledley King is a doubt due to a groin problem. He was fantastic for Spurs against us (I think at White Hart Lane) last season and when fit, he is a massive player for them.
There is some really good news for Man United, it looks like defender Rio Ferdinand will pass a fitness test. If he is passed fit, this will be his first appearance for Man United in the Premier League this season.

John O’Shea is definitely out after suffering an injury, it looks like he could be out for two months which is a blow. Gary Neville played for Man United’s reserves during the week so he is expected to fill in at right back.

Tottenham may not have beaten us in 22 matches but they will prove to be a tough team to beat.
I don’t know how Man United are going to react to the International break, Sir Alex Ferguson has said that it won’t be a problem, but it can’t have helped.

It will be interesting to see if Fergie chooses Dimitar Berbatov to start against his former club. Who will start on the wings and in the centre of midfield?
You can never predict a Sir Alex Ferguson starting XI but I am going to give it a go.

Possible team- Ben Foster, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Antonio Valencia, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick, Ji-Sung Park, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov.

The team I would pick- Foster, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Anderson, Nani, Rooney and Berbatov.

I hate to say it but the way Spurs have been playing and the way we have been playing, I think tomorrows match will be a draw. I am predicting a 1-1 draw.
