Should Man City Be Complaining?

Ok, so we all know the main talking point after the Manchester derby- the second half stoppage time. Four minutes were added onto the end, seconds later City had equalised. Five and a half minutes into stoppage time and Michael Owen scores the winner for Man United.

Where did the extra three minutes come from?
Premier League: United Win Manchester DerbyWhen the full time whistle went, Man United and Man City had played seven minutes of added time. A minimum of four minutes was added onto the end, the key word to that is minimum. Man City scored seconds into added on time and Craig Bellamy’s goal celebration was 45-46 seconds long so that added on an extra minute.

Man United brought on Michael Carrick for Anderson so that added 30 seconds on. After Man United scored another minute was added on for our goal celebration.
It adds up just about, so do Man City have a right to complain?

Personally, I don’t think so. The right amount was added on but if the shoe was on the other foot then I would probably be complaining as well knowing full well that the right amount was added on.
