Man United defender Rio Ferdinand hasn’t had the best start to the season. He has either been injured or he hasn’t been in his best form.
Other rumours have been that one of Ferdinand’s legs is shorter than the other, which is why he has been suffering from back problems. Ferdinand’s agent has rubbished those reports today.
"I can assure you there’s no truth in it whatsoever," Ferdinand’s agent Pini Zahavi is quoted in The Mirror as saying.
"I spoke to Rio about it – he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
"The stories of him having one leg shorter than the other have been doing the rounds for weeks."
"Rio is having treatment and has just started training," he added.
"If his recovery continues to go well he could be back playing inside three weeks."
