Premier League Preview: Man United vs Everton

Football - Everton v Manchester United FA Cup Semi Final

This evening Everton travel to Old Trafford to take on Premier League Champion’s Man United. The Toffee’s won their last game against West Ham 2-1 whilst Man United had a very disappointing 1-0 loss to Chelsea.

Both teams have injury problems but this game comes after a two-week International break. You never really know what Man United will be like after the break, we played really well against Chelsea but before that, we had been awful.

United will definitely be without Gary Neville (suspended), Rio Ferdinand, Owen Hargreaves and Danny Welbeck. John O’Shea, Jonny Evans, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Carrick are all doubts.
The good news is that Nemanja Vidic is expected to return to the starting line-up.

Everton are without Diniyar Bilyaletdinov who is suspended. They will also be without Victor Anichebe, Mikel Arteta, Phil Jagielka and James Vaughan
Tim Howard, Jo, Phil Neville, Leon Osman, Steven Pienaar, Jack Rodwell and Louis Saha are all doubtful.

Referee today will be Steve Bennett. Do I need to say any more? Whenever Bennett referee’s United’s games, I am always expecting at least one really bad decision, which may or may not affect the game.

United can’t afford to drop anymore points, we shouldn’t be five points behind Chelsea, we should be a point ahead of them but that isn’t the way it is. Chelsea kick off against Wolves before United today so there is a good chance that they will be eight points ahead of United.

Predicted Man United team- Van Der Sar, Rafael, Brown, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Anderson, Fletcher, Giggs, Rooney and Owen.

Predicted score line- Man United 2-1 Everton
