There were reports yesterday suggesting that Man United defender Rio Ferdinand will be out for a few months. During Sir Alex Ferguson’s pre-match press conference he doesn’t seem to be that worried about it.
The manager has said that it is more likely to be a matter of weeks, not months.
"It is back-related," Ferguson said. "We are not putting a timescale on it but it is not a situation where we are saying it will be months. It might be a couple of weeks or it might be a few weeks, but that is it."
Man United fans will be happy to hear that news. Hopefully Ferdinand can come back 100% fit and start getting back to his best form.
